Gaslight Anthem Olympia Theater
I recently visited Dublin to watch Gaslight anthem for 5th and 6th time for my Birthday present and Dublin was awesome, i would differently go back in a heart beat. The Olympia theater was delightful, i always believe the older theaters
the better the sound. If your in too New Jersey punk or folk punk rock, then give them a listen! Iv not been to watch them 6 times cos they suck. I look forward to seeing them again.
23rd May Special Lana Del Rey Day.
Lana Del Rey Manchester Apollo
On the 23rd of May me and my friend had the great opportunity of watching Lana Del Rey in action and she was fantastic, one of the best gigs iv been too. I really enjoyed the fact she played in the Apollo as iv been to gigs in bigger arenas and it sucked, i much prefer bands to play in small arenas it sounds so much better, there not blasting the music so people at the back can hear. I loved the props and the backdrop used which i believed was inspired by the Great Gatsby film which one of her songs featured in (Young and Beautiful). She only played 13 songs which is not a lot and i know quite a few people were pissed about this which i understand, there was so many other songs she could have played. Overall i would differently go again but maybe get seated tickets as being squished by screaming 14 year olds was not enjoyable, however she was amazing an her voice is just as good live, she also really connected with crowd.
